Courses I offer

To Companies

Are you considering to introduce your employees to CAT tools? Or do they need to learn more advanced CAT tools skills or brush up on existing skills? I offer well-structured hands-on and engaging courses as well as consultancy and technical support. Find out what other companies have said about their Dania Training courses in the Testimonials section further down on this page.

To Universities

Do you need a professional translation technology trainer for a higher education programme? I offer well-structured course programes, engaging hands-on lectures, user manuals as well as one month follow-up technical support service for your students. Read more about my extensive academic training experience by clicking here.

To Private Individuals

Are you more of a one-to-one type of person, who prefers not to attend an open classroom course? If yes, then a one-to-one individual course is the right course for you. After a brief consultation, I will tailer the course to your exact needs, and all you then need to decide is whether you would like the course to take place on your work or home premises or online.

In Spain

Ever considered combining a CAT tools course with a stay in a sunnier climate? Well, now you can! Come on your own, with a colleague, or even a whole team! Spend mornings in the classroom, have lunch on the veranda, and enjoy the rest of the day in the sun. We look forward to welcoming you in our home! Click here for more details.

Types of courses

Onsite courses

Freelancers & Companies

The best way to master a new software is via learning by doing. Onsite courses are therefore generally preferable due to the benefits of hands-on learning and the more active participation of the trainees.

The course programmes on onsite courses are either standardised or customised, depending on your preferences. Click on COURSE PROGRAMMES below for detailed descriptions of standardised Course Programmes.

An onsite course takes place at a company’s or freelancer’s premises. My premises in the south of Spain are offered as an alternative venue. For more information on this option, please click here.

Online courses

Freelancers & Companies

Online courses offer the benefit of flexibility. The number of trainees can be higher and no travel is required. The learning environment used to be less active but with today’s screensharing platforms interactive teaching with virtual hands-on guidance is now possible. You will therefore gain a good overview of the software’s functionality, enough for you to continue the learning yourself after the end of the course, using the training materials and manuals provided.

The course programmes are either standardised or customised, depending entirely on your preferences. Click on COURSE PROGRAMMES below for detailed descriptions of standardised Course Programmes.

Open courses

Freelancers & Companies

Open courses welcome all trainees. Although mainly aimed at freelance translators, employed translators and project managers are also very welcome. These courses are held in Antas, Copenhagen, Manchester and Malaga. Details of dates and venues will be listed in the Course Calendar, which you get to by clicking on BOOK A COURSE below.

On Open Courses, you can benefit from the networking opportunities of a classroom setting as well as the possibility of interacting with your fellow trainees. Click on COURSE PROGRAMMES below for detailed descriptions on the standardised Course Programmes.
